Storrs Hole 6 Sleeve Repair
Objective
When we were putting the front 9 baskets back in after winter, we found that mowing operations on the ski trails had damaged the sleeve for basket #6.
After an unsuccessful attempt to re-shape the bent metal with a hammer, we returned with a log splitting tool and sledge hammer. Through careful placement and rotation of the splitting tool, we were able to bend the damage back and get the sleeve round enough to re-install the basket just in time for the start of the 2019 season!
