Who We Are
We are building an infrastructure and network to support the initiatives of local disc golf courses and players. Disc golf is a volunteer-driven sport and our aim is to organize and coordinate the efficient use of local resources to maintain, improve, and expand the repertoire of courses in the Upper Valley.
A critical component in building a vibrant community is organizing regular events where golfers of all ages and abilities can come together for a round and meet other local players. The UVDGA hosts weekly leagues throughout the year which showcase the area's finest courses in a casual setting. Our leagues are free of charge and open to anyone.
Disc golf provides numerous health benefits at a very low cost of entry compared with other sports. Additionally, disc golf courses can be built with low environmental impact and on land otherwise unsuitable for other recreation or development pursuits. We aim to provide a source of information and educational resources for anyone interested in developing disc golf courses in their own communities.
